Suwarna Akka: Suwarna Benjamin Athawale, aged 93 went to be with the Lord on 15 September 2021. She arrived at Mukti Mission at an early age, as a young girl. She worked in Mukti in different roles, as a Bible teacher in Pandharpur, as House Mother of Everlasting, and as a house-parent at Supa. She also taught a Bible course to girls and staff at Mukti. She also used to teach values through moral stories in the High School assembly. Suwarna Akka was a blessed person whose life touched many with her gentle firmness and steadfast spirit. She will be deeply mourned and missed by the Mukti family.
